A graduate of the Wharton Business School and an associate degree holder in Design from FIT, New York, Tarun Tahiliani has been amongst the pioneers of the Indian Fashion Industry. He was the first in India to launch the only Multi Brand Fashion Boutique – Ensemble in 1987. Tahiliani Design Studio has presented its design collections at various International Fashion Weeks. Tarun’s excellent design sensibilities have enabled him to use traditional Indian crafts of Chikan and Zardozi and interpret them to suit the chic and contemporary international urban look. The Studio in Delhi creates couture, diffusion, menswear and accessories. The Spring-Summer 08 collection will see the launch of the Studio’s new Prêt-a-Porter line. The creations are available in top fashion stores around the globe - apart from his own Flagship stores in Delhi, Mumbai and Ensemble.
